JAMES SARSGARD
LEAD INSTALLER

With more than 25 years in the trades, James brings experience across residential remodeling, custom cabinetry, theater carpentry, and large-scale commercial construction. After working in Baltimore, New York City, and Chicago, he settled in Portland in 2013 and has since contributed to a range of historic, commercial, and cultural projects throughout the region. Known for his problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, James especially enjoys the finish stages of a project when the final vision comes together.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, exploring the Oregon coast, and reading about ancient history and anthropology. He’s also an occasional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, an aspiring novelist, and a devoted Baltimore Ravens and Portland Trail Blazers fan.
